Mike Hogan, Joey and Amy KielYour first thought might be "isn't it 'Hoagie' and not 'Hogie?'" Technically, yes, the traditional name for the sandwich is "hoagie" - but we're having a little fun with it since "Hogie" is the nickname of one of our original owners - Mike Hogan aka "Hogie" who passed away after a brief bout with liver cancer on May 26, 2011. RIP Hogie! We love you!

So who is "Joe"? Joe is Joey Kiel, he and his wife, Amy are the owners & managers of Hogie Joe's.

Thus "Hogie Joe's" was born.

Can you get a hoagie at Hogie Joe's? We call 'em sandwiches, but yes. We sell 'em. We also specialize in fantastic burgers, wings, steaks and entrees.

Management Team

Owners Joey & Amy Kiel and Chef Christie Small (right) have been friends since the early '80s. When Joey & Amy decided to open Hogie Joe's, Christie was the logical choice of Chef/Kitchen Manager, with her 20+ years in the restaurant industry. It was the perfect fit!

Award-Winning Staff

We have been extremely blessed to have such a great staff and so little turnover. Many of the Hogie Joe's "family" have been with us since the day we opened the doors in 2010, including Chef Christie Small, Ms. Faye Chalker, "Teasha" Ficklin, and server Lynwood Few.

Many of the rest of our "family" have been with us since almost the beginning, including Tim Pounds, Roshod Berry, Kelley Chambers, Mandy McGahee, Courtney Stewart, Ashley Weber, Jessica Thompson. In August 2012, we also welcomed server Jill Howard to the family.
